This is one of the biggest mail processing center in Italy, whose construction dates back to the early 1970’s. The building became operational in 1980 and remained active up until 1998.
The two L-shaped sections that make up the building occupy an indoor surface of around 12.300 sqm, part of a total usable area of 31.000 sqm. The restructuring project features several substantial structural interventions, including extending the loading docks through the addition of dock levellers, the construction of a new external stairway, and the creation of new structures for services ancillary to the plant.
