the competition for the Omegna hospital is a chance to effectively test, on a large-scale project, the Area Geie structure, the professional consortium funded, among others, by Buonomo Veglia.
The result is a highly modular project, with an emphasis on circulation, shortening and simplifying the itineraries of medical personnel, patients, and visitors. A large glass-roof hall is the core of the hospital. Walking in, visitors have, at first glance, the immediate perception of where to find the various departments, clearly marked by full-height, printed panels.
